Summer Reading Grade School 6-10

Monday’s at 1pm  for children 6-10 years old.  We will read together and do a hands on activity each week.

This program has a river theme and is designed to inspire young artists.  Instruction will develop students art skills in drawing, painting and in observation.  All supplies will be provided.  Students must commit to all 4 days.  On Day4 students will host an art show.  Family and friends will be invited to view the artwork of the students and other art work that has been created at Macsherry library at 7pm, Thursday July 25.

We will meet at the location at 10am.  Depending on skill levels, different venues and groups may form.  Life jackets and poles provided but participants may bring their own.  Children under 8 must have parent supervision.

Participants meet at ACS at 10am or Butterfield Lake boat ramp at 10:15 am.  Life Jackets and kayaks provided.  Each week we will work on basic kayaking skills.  Children under 11 may attend with a chaperone.  Parents are encouraged to participate .
