This is a great time for children and their caregivers to come together and play, do crafts, have a snack and hear a story. This is for children of all ages.
This is a K-6 after school program with teen volunteers (7-12th). Legos, crafts, and board games
The youth board meets every Wednesday at 3pm in the high school cafeteria. Come with our thoughts and ideas! This is a time for the youth to gather information and organize events for the youth in their community.
Principals of Photography From beginner to advanced.
5 – 1 1/2 hour classes ~ FREE
- Discover what it is that separates snap shots from good photography.
- Each class includes 1.5 hours of instruction, discussion and hands on practice.
- Topics include shooting film vs. digital, composition, basic camera functions, editing, printing and more.
- A digital camera is strongly recommended for each student.
This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York Stat Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
Youth Dinner at the United Methodist Church in Alexandria Bay. 5-7pm
All 7-12 students are invited.

Come to Macsherry Library and enjoy cookies and milk with the Easter Bunny. There will be an easy craft while children wait for the Easter bunny to arrive. There will also be real bunnies to see.
Come and join Mrs. Martin in this fun “Flowers in Bloom” Acrylic paint class. This class is geared for all ages. Flowers are made with Q-tips. The cost of this class is $20 per canvas. Snacks will be served. You MUST sign up for this class. You may do so by calling the Macsherry Library or the Hearts for Youth office.
